Driver's Edge, a free accident avoidance training program, is coming back to South Dakota. Drivers under the age of 18 - the ones most likely to be involved in car crashes over the last five years according to the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety - will learn how to stay safer on the roads thanks to this innovative program. Driver's Edge, a non-profit organization, gives teen drivers free classroom and behind-the-wheel accident avoidance instruction to battle this statistic. Driver's Edge will be in South Dakota on June 13, 14 & 15, 2008. Sessions will be held at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls. Parents are also encouraged to attend and
observe. The program includes: Driver's Edge is a nationally recognized program taught by professional racecar drivers and performance driving instructors. This special opportunity is offered at no cost to students. Young drivers ages 14-21, possessing a valid learner's permit or license, are invited to join one of the sessions.
